do the farmers have much corn off yet in eastern SD?

No-so far only a few have started. Noticed some stripped out fields but for the most part corn and beans still standing.

I doubt it. Many of the lodges will have their fields stripped out, but Joe Farmer will probably not have much out by opener. Usually November is a great time to hunt as it is a little cooler and all crops are out by then....

Its like the pheasant opener all over when the corn comes out. Fun stuff. Can't wait

I agree. I go out the first and third week. The third week is just as fun and sometimes better.

Heading out to Gregory SD this weekend. How's the corn in the Eastern part of the state? 50% gone? Still in? Anyone know?

Can't say for sure about SD. But the ND combines have been rolling. Hardly any corn standing in ND.
