Blue River I'm Dans Boy "Odie" and Sunrise Shea pups hit the ground running today. 4 girls and 3 boys. Can't wait to get started on my new project. Some nice big plump healthy kids.

That's the heating pad.

Wow, seems like a lot of large litters all around this year. Congrats on a healthy litter-- I'm sure they'll make some families very happy in the near future!

Congrats, Ken!

No, these are not mine. Odie just got to do the deed if you get my drift. I took a pup for the stud fee. I like this bitch allot. I helped train with her, had her here as a pup for a spell, and know what kind of animal she is. I think it will be a very nice combination. With Odie and her Sunrise drive, look out. Time will tell. The rest all had hunting homes for some time now. He had 3 girl reservations and 3 boy. So one text netted a long time field trialer for the other girl. Should be some good sized, leggy, racy built bird finders. I'll keep my self busy doing other things till she comes home though, LOL.

PS yes thats a whelping nest, heated.

Well now I know why the new kennel is being built. :D Momma must have said that your keeping all of them pups right:eek::eek: :coolpics:

The more I look, I am wowed at how big these pups were at birth. He took this photo with still one pup to be born, during labor here. Thats why she is so messy yet. They look 3-4 days old. Glad I wasn't giving birth.

We could ask the stenographer, but I think that I just said it is a good starting point for someone starting to look for a particular breed. I have a deposit down on another red setter right now from a non orvis breeder. The pup should be here towards the end of July.

Jeff you should keep one and get up and train and run in trials. You would enjoy it.

It is in the works. I am really pushing the envelope with the red dog coming but I should have the kennel up and running soon.

I was thinking of holding a pup back for awhile and working her until fall to see how she develops.
