Shot this bird last Thursday in Boulder County. Morning started out with a spring blizzard and three inches of snow and ended with bluebird skies! I had never hunted turkeys in the snow before but it was actually somewhat helpful as I was in an area that I hadn't scouted much this year. When the sun came out I started yelping on the box call and sure enough this old buzzard couldn't help himself. He came in from about 500 yards and I was able to set up quick and touch off a load of Remington 3" #4 at 40 yards. 8 inch beard and found some sheds on the way out which is always a plus!
