Really miss Idaho Chukar hunting is there any chukar close to the Lairmer County area. Wondering if there is any chukar up the Poudre canyon? If someone could point me to a general region my pup sure would be thankful. Thanks for the help.
 
I have heard that there is more quail then most think there is along the river. I can't speak with first hand knowledge though. We did manage to get a couple of geese a couple of weekends back. I wont have any time until after the 1st of Nov, but the dog and I are up for a run if you want company. :thumbsup:
 
I think there may be chukar on the western slope, but am not sure. I too heard there are a lot of quail along the lower portion of the south platte. I haven't heard anything about the Poudre.
