challenge

what, snowcocks, where, ruby mountains, where, Nevada. well, twice very recently I read about two guys trying to shoot a snowcock. actually never heard of them and surely at my age, won't hunt them, both guys that wrote the articles should have stayed home too. seems they like it at 11,000 ft. and don't like company. neither guy connected, spent a lot of money, but did get to see a bird at least. they kinda belong to the pheasant family,

cheers

Old buddy of mine who lives in Elko got a snowcock in the Ruby Mountains. Hardest hunt he ever did he said.

I had heard of them about 2 years ago and have added them as #1 on my CONUS bucket list. Planning for this hunt in about 3 years. Have a couple other things to do first, like pay off my boat and wife's car.
