Canned pheasant?

I’ve had venison canned in mason jars…lights out good! Wonder what pheasant would be like? Venison is so tender that way…just curious…

Im not sure how they can entire chickens and turkey in metal cans but mine did not turn out well. Grind it up and freeze it

My father talked highly about canned pheasant my grandmother used to make. I never had a chance to try it.

The wife of the farmer that taught me pheasant hunting used to can chicken and noodles together to have meals on a shelf. It was really good too.

I see no reason why it couldn't be done with pheasant.

On the meat side My mother canned venison, beef and chicken. It seems to me my wife and I canned venison once but stuck to vegetables.

They use a high pressure canning machine and get the proper seal through a validated thermal process that’s certified by the appropriate regulatory authority.
