Cabelas: Savage O/U Shotgun on Sale

The Kansas City Cabela's "Door Buster Sale" flyer in the paper this a.m. advertised a Savage 12 or 20 ga. O/U for $549.99. Not familiar with Savage shotguns although I am told Savage rifles are dandies. Seems like a good deal.

my shooting buddy bought one for sporting clays and he started having trouble after about a year of shooting it, he took it to our gunsmith who said that it was a good hunting gun, but not made for the 1,000s of shots one shoots it in a year at clays. He really likes the gun and got it fixed and has bought a Browning XS for clays.
I would not be afraid to buy one for hunting, like I said my friend really likes it.
