I think I saw a released bird yesterday.He had no tail.

This bird I think may have been a sudo rooster.

Could you tell if it's toe nails were painted?

It just didn't look quite right.

I didn't shoot it.I don't shoot birds unless they are full colored long tailed.My cousin is another story.One of my friends is color blind.

We ran into a rooster that didn't have a tail once. Upon identifying it was a rooster we dropped him. Probably lost his tail to a coyote

He could of lost because got frozen in snow or ice.

Here in Pennsylvania hunting government birds lots of roosters have no tail.
Few live long enough to grow their feathers out.

I've only come across a few released birds,but unfortunately Montana released a lot.Im not a fan of releasing pheasant.
