Badlands Bird Vest Question

Gents - purchased a Badlands bird vest online. Pretty impressed with the way its constructed and eagerly awaiting testing it in a few wks in SD chasing roosters.

For those of you that own one...is the detachable zippered bag on the interior of the back of the vest designed to slide birds in it? Or do you just throw them in the shell of the vest itself?

The pocket is for a coat or something like that, something that you want to keep clean. I don't like mine, I don't think that it fits well but I'm tall.

Anyone else that has used this vest have any thoughts on it? Considering picking one up. Any place on line better than others for purchasing?
