Just got back and 9 out of 18 were hit by bears . got pics from 6 baits with bears and four with wolves

notice the black ground bee they were all over in this bait. Scary !!!

save the areas with the wolf for wolf season LOL trap that bear bait thief as soon as wolf season open lol very cool pics i remember as a kid going up to help my dad bait in the summer the memory lasted i never had the urge to hunt bears since to hot to many bugs to much work baiting them damn things lol

Its the same baits from last year. Temp last Sunday while baiting 95degrees and lots of skeeters. If one comes in and I get to see it it will be worth it!
 
my hats off to you cnggack much respect for the work you put in to the bait!!! i would have to say its not worth it but each to there own lol

good luck & hope you get a dandy!!! are u baiting for others also??? or are all them ur baits & u get the pick of what bait u want to hunt???

Chuck , some of those Bears need more exercise!!!!!:D Do you guy's get to shoot wolves as well???:cheers:
 
Never hunted bears, would you consider those big? What do you think they weigh? Great pictures, hope you have a wolf tag also. Thanks for sharing.
 
This Kansas boy would love to shoot a bear someday. So much so that those enormous Mosquitos you all have up there don't sound too bad.
 
we do have a wolf season here in MN yes... we have lots up here!!! i dont think the seasons jive as wolf season is later in the yr like NOV. if im correct??? i know we can shoot them during gun deer season thats nov. 9 this yr i think

we have a lottery system here for wolf tags if u want a tag u must apply im not sure if its only residents or not that can apply??? we can trap & shoot them as well late season they can even snare them not good if ur up in wolf country ruffed grouse hunting i grouse hunt in a few major wolf hang outs kinda scary!

a kid just was attacked up here in MN this wk by a wolf the 1st confirmed attack in i dont know how long the kid was lucky!!! got the kid in his tent while sleeping think we have to many wolf in MN??? roughly 3,000+
