was out in my hunting country from Thur-Sun...dogs had a blast! So did their master. Nice time to be out. Drove hwy 81 from Madison to Watertown...nice drive.
Are any of you starting to get dogs into shape??

Dixie and I started roading in the National Battlefield here at home. We get time in the field everyday continue to work on her retrieveing. She brought the last quail of the season to me last year after a season of possesiveness ( she wasn't a year old yet). I hope the bell goes off this (her 2nd ) season. That will be the final task in making her a finished dog. Taking her to SD this year mine and her firdt time there. We will be ready!!!!

I don't have to get Tony in shape. He and I go for a 3mile walk for me and run for most everyday. He feels that is the highlight of his day. For I sure get told if we cannot get out for some reason.---Bob
