Took Molly out to get her on a few more birds today. Planted preserve birds set out 20 minutes before we started. Confused the hell out of her. She could smell the bird out there somewhere, but had a hard time pinpointing them since they had been hand planted and left no trail. One had moved around a little and she scented it and moved right in. We get to the location of the last bird and she stops and is looking around, not on point, just trying to figure out where the bird is that she can get a little smell of. After 30-45 seconds she zeros in on it. She leans forward until her nose is about an inch from the bird before it flushes. 4 birds, 4 retrieves.
