Any members from NW"ish" Iowa?

I know Kevin is a SC guy and McFarmer is about an hour north...any other members in this part of the state?
So many members here have nothing in their bio on their location, not even as vague as just a state even. I suppose they afraid of someone hot spotting their state. If the state was a requirement to join, these folks would put Hawaii.

Well I've got Iowa in my bio, but I'm not in your neck of the woods. I'm closer to Missouri than Des Moines, which can make for some challenge when looking for pheasants.

In 2025, people know where the good pheasant hunting is. That's why you see so many out-of-state plates driving around everywhere, even way out in the sticks.

Central Iowa here, Northern Polk County to be more specific. I'm not too worried about hot spotting as I rarely hunt the public ground close to me. I do have some local private ground, but if I'm hunting public I travel North and maybe West :)

I can be found in Cherokee, Plymouth and Woodbury counties. Might have been with a friend once or twice in Monona cty.

Too many crazies today, remember that one fellow a while back ? Seemed obsessed with finding out my location for some reason.

I assume everyone is nuts ‘cept you and me, not so sure about you sometimes.

Not from IA, I live in MN. But with that said once the season starts, I spend a lot of time in IA in NC & NW IA all season. It's closer for me to drive to northern part of IA then it is to drive to western part of MN for me hence why I do most of my hunting in IA all season, plus the 3 bird limit all season vs the 2 bird in MN till Dec 1.
