My oldest Brittany turned 14 on Monday and lab turned 2 on the 13th, I do believe cabin fever has taken over. Hope the photos attach work. Oh yeah the Brits love Spider-Man, hence the masks. Candles indicate human years, my wife's idea.......

That is great! And i always thought my dogs were the most spoiled on this earth...

what will you do with the woodcock? Just let your dogs find and point them, then flush them with no shots?
 
Chewi: I will have a blank pistol with me to shoot, so we go through the whole scenario, dogs are used to me missing so it is fitting.
 
haha that was kind of what I was wondering. I know my pup would be happy just to find something to point (we hiked about 3 miles yesterday just looking for habitat), but sooner or later she would probably get a little ticked if she didn't get to taste anything!
 
Thanks, what part of Iowa paddict? I've hunted the Anita area off and on for th past 30 years. Always had good dog work but more lean number years than good. Bonus was getting into the occasional covey of quail or Huns.
 
Lived about 20 miles northwest of Anita and had pretty good hunting for a lot of years. The hunting got sparse and moved north. I hope the hunting gets better around Anita.
