Well k-state came in thinking KU was ripe for a beating. Well not much of a game. What a beating. KU ripped what was touted as a good defense. No turnovers in the first half. Pretty much did what we wanted all game. Kinda boring:D. I was hoping for a competitive game, but it wasn't to be. If KU plays at 80% of effort today they will be tough to beat. You could sure tell the difference in talent today. Maybe next year pooh bear:)

Ku is pretty solid in basketball.

But the Beatdown in Lawrence was much worse on November 30th

It is hard to lay a team by 26 that is ranked. The game wasn't that close. Arizona is good. KU is really young. By the time they would play in the tournament, KU is going to be seasoned. They played a pretty tough schedule, RPI is 3rd, they will be good in march.

That was a terrible beatdown, but no worse than most years in Lawrence. Hey at least the Cats were competitive for the first 5-10 minutes, unlike most years when they get down big right out of the gate.

The Cats will be fine. They've been winning some of the ugliest basketball games I've ever seen. Need to bench Spradling...

KU is talented, but they have a tough couple weeks ahead of them.

The Big 12 is pretty solid this year.

Actually both Spradling and Southwell need to come off the bench! Neither has showed enough senior leadership to warrant starting. The whole team does not look hungry enough yet to be classified as a real threat. At KSU, you have to play with emotion and understand you are always coming into a game as the underdog. Even the new freshmen play with little or no emotion on their faces and Gibson always looks like he just got up from a nice nap. Need more fire!

Ku was dominant again at ISU. Only won by 7 but dominated pretty much every phase. Wiggins is starting to show what kind of player he is going to be. I am not one to cry about officiating but.......... at one time ISU had 22 free throws to KU's 5:eek:. Talk about a little home cookin':). Embiid is going to have to learn how to cool his emotions. Got another flagrant technical tonite, at least he didn't get ejected like saturday's cheap shot. They will be looking for him now. 3 of his other 4 fouls were crap calls tonite. He is some kind of talent though. He sat much of the first half and still ended up with 16 pts, 5 blocks and several rebounds.

Spradling has gradually gotten worse since his freshman year.
