HI All,
I am heading out to the ABerdeen area this wknd to do some pheasant hunting with a group of friends. It is my first trip out to SD and I am really looking forward to it. We have our hunting plans figured out but I was wondering if anyone could recommend some non-hunting things to do in the area.. IE - Great Bars..etc..Thanks!

Not sure on abeerdeen other that strip clubs. If you find yourself in the Langford area Swede's Corner Bar has a great hamburger steak or Club Eden in Eden, sometimes you can catch it right and have a great time.

You mentioned strip clubs..any reccomendations there? haha

For a good steak I would try Maverick's Steakhouse located just behind the Holiday Inn Express on the east side of town.

The Tapz Bar at the Ramada Inn is a good bar where you can pull your own tap beer at your table. Food there is so-so.

On the NW side of town there is Minervas Restaurant that is located in the Ramkota Motel.

Also on the NW side is Max & Erma's.

There are a number of other places also that you can look up when you get there. Some good, some not so good. I would avoid IHOP. If you want breaskfast there is Perkins on the west side, or try the Millstone on the east side a couple block west of IHOP.

Good luck and have fun.
