I finally got the pup out for a pheasant hunt. He has been layed up for the past month and a half because he ripped his nail off exposing the quik. We managed one nice rooster but should have brought my duck gear because that north wind had the ducks moving. All and all it was a great walk rewarded with dinner.

Nice going Kw. Glad the pup is feeling good, we lost a couple weekends of mountain quail season to a cracked nail.
