Happy new year everyone! A friend told me about this new new product that was developed in Western KS pheasant hunts.
I ordered a couple, love the idea of being able to shoot bare handed since I always am cold since i wear the thinnest glove i can stand. figured you guys might like it too- www.gunmitt.com

Updated- Check out this temp test video. Pretty cool to see! - http://youtu.be/-oAHtohLvXY

since you're always carrying your gun in your hands and these Kansas hunts are so cold- to keep the gun, hands, and you warm- why not just a heated stretch pouncho designed to cover everything except the top of the barrel- you could dail up the heat setting so it's like your living room

i was more of the lines of pitching a tent over your head, are you kidding me? for a minute i was thinking it was me lol wow!!

I like that idea. Kinda like a walking blind. If you could have bacon and eggs, or hot coffee at about 10 am it would be perfect. Maybe they make those snuggies i see on tv in camo, or better yet, in blaze orange.

I'd be scared of knocking myself out with the gun barrel as I went to rub the freezing snot out of my nose. gonna be 50 here in central neb the net few days.....not going to need those anytime soon here

late season birds

Hi everyone, I'm from southern Ohio and our bird season has recently ended. I'm looking for a public area where I can get my pup on some birds for a couple of days. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.

It reminds me of other favorites of the past, The "Eddie" Bean Itchy wool shirt, or the all time favorite "canoe hat".

I think it seems like a clever idea that would be pretty handy for some guys.

I usually wear thin gloves, and never get cold due to all the walking... In fact, I usually want to take my gloves off, but often leave them on to protect my hands from the plum. But if I was standing still all the time, I could see how that thing would be useful.

You should partner up with the gun manufacturers. Have them design an auto-loader that vents extra hot air right into that mitt every time you shoot.

Always love seeing people think outside the box, and acutally following through on an idea. Perhaps sitting in a duck blind could be handy.

Yeah thought so to. I shoot pretty well at the range, and then it all goes out the window when i go to a big glove or numb hand.. Always seems like those wind/sleet days are the really great ones too
