My wife and I decided to get away from civilization for Thanksgiving, so we went to Lake Powell. The weather was pretty good for this time of year. It rained one day and was clear and about 50 degrees for the remainder. Lots of striped bass and lots and lots of shad. Caught fish in two types of spots, either all the way back of the canyons and cast and really rip a lipless crank bait, or troll about 5 mph across humps that were 15-20 feet deep. If we weren’t doing that then we weren’t catching fish.
