a bird dog that blends in

goldeneye- keep it up- I sort of think these good pointers know when we have the camera- just wait till you are sure it's a hen- then that big rooster comes up

this will make you chuckle

Show off :D

How much snow do you guys have down there?

not much snow here now- quite a bit melted- after a few hours sun and warm weather the roads get bad- glad to say I have 4 wheel drive now- great dealership experience- warranty- going to go out here in a little bit- going to try a different field- see if there's any pheasants to play with

This is why I have to put vests on them.

These pictures were taken in sequence, you can't even see the dog in one of the pictures. The other was really blurry, I'm sorry about that, but you get the picture. (Pun intended)

Your V's are nearly impossible to see in that grass. Without a vest and or a garmin, you are not going to find them.

V-John- beautifull country- I take it that's arround you- shees- we have nothing like that here- there is a big field close to Hays looked a bit like that a few years ago- not sure now- I'm going to go up one of these weekends

yea- I can see why you need orange vests- how are your Garmins working- you getting good readings out there a bit- know you got some replacements some time back-

I'm still using the old DC20's- got a couple extras and whip antenea- sort of comparing-

I'm having good luck with the Garmins and their readings. Steve bought me a couple of replacement collars to replace the Nylon ones. (Thanks Steve) The collars themselves were fraying ALOT and falling apart. But as far as the reading goes, they've been ok. Although, one had me walking the exact WRONG direction not to long ago. But it straightened itself out.
Now, I AM having problems with them charging. I will plug them into the charger, the blue light comes on, then after awhile they quit charging. So, my collars never seem to get charged. But other then that, they are holding up nicely. How is the whip antennae holding up for you?

got the Hydration Pack on Shadow- we were on a test of how well it did- and would he wear down-- we were a mile from the vehicle
there's 4 Britt's locked up in the picture- how would you approach and which dog would you concentrate on
