3 for 3, not bad for an old guy

I took the girls out this morning and managed to get these in a little over an hour. I broke the wing on one and Gibby my five-year-old short hair was close when it hit the ground running. I thought she lost it in the tall switch grass but she acted like she was following something so I didn't call her back. I got the other two over to hunt dead and started looking myself. I finally looked at the Astro and Gibby was over 125 yards away. I watched and she kept getting closer and showed up with a very live rooster in her mouth. Good dog!

The other funny thing was I shot all three within a quarter mile of my truck after walking a few miles.

She doesn't look much of a hunting dog asleep on the couch!
