2024 Pheasant Pics/Reports

Thought I'd get the party started with the season just starting. Feel free to share your hunting reports here - good or bad. Good luck to all!

Warm and dry but hopefully all had some good, safe hunts this weekend.

I got into 4 hens yesterday. Of course I spotted a big mature bird in the ditch on the way

Very short hunt today but we got this nice bird. 19 and 1/2" tail feathers.

Have to show off the star.

I flushed 4 hens that day...

Went 0 for 3 opening day.Shot for the cycle the next day with different gun.Got one yesterday with the 28!! Stoked about that.

Yep, tried it out for the first time. Gave it a little olive oil glaze, put some seasoning on it and threw it in the oven at 350 until it was 165. Was delicious, nice and moist.
