2018 south dakota trip - first time

Thanks for all the info. Turns out we found a guide while hunting in Michigan over the weekend that is planning to come with us out to Iowa next fall. Will save us a lot of money and is only half the distance. He claims bird numbers have been good in Iowa. How's hunting in Iowa been for those that know??

How aboiut getting the general feel of the experience...I'll bring a harp with me to the Super 8 and we can listen to the music in the lobby!
