12 hours and counting down

I do not mean to rub it in, as I know I am not the only one but, 12 hours and I will be pointing the ole vehicle toward the NorthEast and head toward Pierre, S.D.
I just talked to my buddies in Indiana and they are all packed and really to take off in the morning.
Won't be no killem and stack um and NO put and take loonie birds. Just a couple of crazy country boys looking to have some fun, kill a few, a limit would be nice, but not necessary. Throw back a few cold ones after a day of following our canine buddies.
Gove County Brit and Kansas Brit, what time did you say you would be there.:)
Guys be safe, pay attention, keep your dogs and yourself hydrated, tell the family ya love them.
And I am going to wake the wife up in about 3 hours and tell her I am gonna take a shower and take off, since my vehicle is packed with everything but the guns and I am afrais someone will break in to the ole vehicle.

Being a resident of Winner, SD I get to hunt the whole season, not just a quick trip, in the best pheasant country around:) How's that for rubbing it in? lol Best wishes and have a safe hunt.

You bet that is rubbing it in. Especially to us hunters that have to work all day for 1 bird, if we are lucky..........Bob

Hey, I'm already here! Rub ! Rub!

Got 2 does hanging in the shed to cut up tomorrow and then it is time to ramp up for opener. Just put the epoxy coating on the new bird shed. Much more to do before Sat.

Good luck everyone.

Lot of combines in the field tonight.
