1-1/2 Year old started brittany

I have a year and a half old male brittany for sale. From excellent bloodlines. He hunted wild grouse and pheasant last season, has been shot over and has held point on wild birds. He spent 2 weeks on wild birds with a professional trainer. Responds to whistle and voice commands, lots of energy. Responds to positive training techniques. I have the pedigree, but never registered him because he's fixed.

I have worked with him in the yard and in the field, he's ready for someone who can take him further than I can. He has not gone through force fetch, but that would be a next step. Plenty of energy, but not over the top.

He is about 40 lbs. He has been in an attached kennel for most of his life, and is not house broke. I don't think it would be hard to house break him, he picks things up easily. I have small children and don't worry about him around them, he does well with kids.

Family commitments don't allow me enough time to spend with him, and he definitely needs to be around someone who can give him more time than I can .

He is neutered, shots are current as of the end of February. I have plenty of room to show you how he runs, so give me a call to come see him. Asking $600.00 cash only. Want to place him in a good home! He is perfect for an empty nester that hunts and can get him outside regularly. Mostly he just needs more time than I have.

I will only respond to phone calls at 507-365-8500. Please no scammers or tire kickers. Near Rochester, MN

sparetime, if you could post some photos and a copy of his pedigree it might help in finding a new home.

Do you have his litter papers so he could be registered? Even though he is nuetered in order to run various trials, etc. the dog needs to be registered.

Yes, I do have the litter papers at home. Will try and post a picture later today. If anyone is interested, I'd be glad to forward a scanned copy of the liter papers. Will have to check on pedigree.
