My informal survey on July 30th. Brule County
Blacktop road vs gravel
40-60 mph vs 20
Ideal morning conditions
25 mile route vs 30 miles
one time shot vs daily sightings over several weeks
Results:
106 sightings. 4+/mile
About 80 % chicks
My opinion, population as good as 08
Have a good hunt

That's a pretty good informal survey.

I guess now we wait for that all too famous roadside survey count that usually comes out about Labor Day-ish.....

I'm happy with reports Iv'e got and what I have seen around the state.

can you drive to kansas to get a survey? that would be great. just kidding i'm going out there next month and i'll report back. unless someone else will give a report that lives there...... anyways thanks for the good inft. i'm sure everyone apprecaties it.
