How did your season go? The groups I went with got 52 pheasants this season. We got 50 last season but we hunted a lot more last season. We did not leave Sumner County this season. I look forward to the days when my friends out west can have hunts again.

I just wanted to thank the State of South Dakota for the best two days of pheasant hunting (Friday Jan. 3rd and Saturday Jan.4th) I have ever had in my 45 years of hunting. You boys in SD are doing it right on both private and public land.

My son and I hunted in Parkston, SD area the past two days. Two days of limits and time to explore SD. We have plans to make this to be a yearly event. Thanks Mike & Drew Muntefering for a great hunt.

My son will be comming up to hunt in SD for two days on Dec 21 & 22. I have hunted 30 year plus in Kansas pheasant hunting but we have never been to SD to hunt. What should we bring and what should we look forward to in SD? Thanks

Two of my former baseball players called today & we found a good pocket of birds. They were around water, cover & near beans/wheat stuble. Who would have thought the birds need food, water and a place to stay warm/safe.

My wife and I took our 2 year old grandson fishing tonight for the first time. He caught 3 fish with a little help. His new Cars fishing pole worked well. We saw one rooster cross in front of us one the way out and saw 20-30 young birds cross on the way out. That is the first time I ever saw...

Went bass fishing tonight & caught a few but the good news is on the 1/2 mile road to the pood from the highway I saw one hen and two roosters. There is hope for next fall.
