Snowing, -18 wind chill in NW Oklahoma. Historic weather. Never this cold since 1890. Will be devastating to our Quail population. This kind of weather is suppose to continue until Wed. afternoon w/a second wave of snow & brutal cold.

I feed my GSP the premium Lloyal brand 30/20. Was wondering if anyone else did the same and what are your thoughts concerning the product. In doing research the ingredients & process of manufacturing the dog food seems to be impressive.

The ONLY gun cleaning solvent I have used is Hoppes #9. Passed on to me by my father over 60 years ago. I also us Rem oil between gun cleanings for lubrication in my auto loader.

Hunted Monday at the WMA at Drummond, OK. GunnR my GSP pointed one hen and a rooster & was able to get the rooster. Walked for 2-2 1/2 hrs. Saw several hunters both duck and pheasant. Heard lots of shots, mostly duck hunters I suppose. Fewer birds this year but I enjoy the hunt & dog work.
