Don't have one for sale but FYI: All "old" A5 Sweet Sixteen's have 25" barrels. Kind of what set them apart. There are sixteen's and then there are sweet sixteens. Clearly marked on the receiver. If you're looking for new, then you have a choice. Good Luck...great guns and gauge.

No it's not hard to beat a 12. A 16 is a bird killing machine. Only time I shoot a 12 is goose hunting. Also use a 20 on pheasant and ducks. Quail get the hammer from a 28.

The one and only TAZ...rescued at 2, trained up and hunted until he passed at 14. The absolute best dog in and out of the field. Words cannot explain the joy in hunting with him.

I use cut inner tubes during snow or ice hunts. Slide on, fold over and tape. Don’t get them to tight on the fold.

I use them. I use pre-wrap on the leg, then boot up the dog and then use flame orange duct tape that connects boot to pre-wrap. Haven't lost a boot yet.

I run a different brand and the dogs love it as well. I put the front seat straps under the headrest around the metal posts.

$1000 would be the top I would ever consider. I've seen duck hunters shell out much much more for a lab. I've had free rescues hunt better that big dollar dogs. Do what's in your heart or your wallet? Great hunters and companions out there for less. Just my $.02...or $20.00; doesn't really...

Taz was 15...two points, two retrieves on the last day of the season. He passed 6 months later. Worked slow and methodical while his two young brothers bounced all around him. Never give up on a GSP, tough and stubborn as a nail.

My now deceased boy Taz went deaf several years before his end. Vibrating collar and hand signals got him through several years of great hunting. He worked slower and we just let him go. On point, flush bird, shoot bird, start over. Good luck.

Check your local GSP rescue as well. As I've done many times, I love turning rescue GSP's into great hunters and great companions.

Take contacts out, clean with brass brush and then reinstall them with dielectric grease or petroleum jelly.

When Gander Mtn. was still around I bought a pair of their store brand chaps...came in husky size. Liked them so much, went back and bought another pair. Still on first pair with new ones hanging in my hunt locker.
