I've always wondered if any other state sees daily extreme temperatures like California. Yesterday saw a low of 35 in Truckee and a high of 119 in Death Valley.:eek: My best math tells me this is an 84 degree discrepancy and that's pretty standard. I've seen close to a 100 degree difference before.

Well the crappie are starting to bite, we caught 10 or so 10-13" slabs Saturday. Never could find the 15-20" class fish we get into sometimes. We only kept enough for dinner.
