I recommend proso millet drilled, preferably with a no-till great plains drill at 12 to 15 lbs per acre on 7.5" rows. Fertilize with N, once mature I spray glyophosate and approximately 3 weeks later. Then use a prescribed fire and your ready to shoot some doves.
