IMO, at the end of the day, as long as you harvest what you are after or pass the test that you enter, and are enjoying the process, that’s all that really matters.

This year , struggling to walk through cover over my head. Couldn’t see what was in front of me. Took a step and literally fell over into a washout area that was 3’-4’ deep. Landed horizontal to the ground on my gun. My head hit the receiver and I almost knocked myself out!

Using an over/under, 2 in the gun and 8 in my vest. Limit here is 3 and birds usually are spread out and flush as singles.

IMO it’s a bad idea to shoot any upland game on or near the ground with dogs around.

I haven’t see them hunting here in Colorado. There are several that belong to and participate in the local HRC club.
