I want you all to know that I had a couple of going away shots this week in NOrht Dakota and I concentrated and hit those shots! Sometimes it is that split second extra time that you take to tell your brain what to do.

I too like black and white laws that are direct but I think you contradicted yourself when you give the officer the ability to charge or not charge someone. I think the point is that no one is over harvesting animals but they somehow have to put the laws into print.

I know this is the "letter of the law" but I think I would fight that one in court.

Never throw the old ones away! Some days you just need to slip them on where your shooting eye is a little off.

BB, I see birds that are heart shot all the time. Many people don't follow the bird as it sails away. Every "heart shot" bird is stone dead and easy to find because they are always right where they fell. Going to ND next week, maybe I can run into a double. signed Always Hopeful!

As you can guess I usually run two Golden Retrievers that I have bred and raised. I used to shoot a 12 gauge Beretta O/U and still do at times, but I have switched to 16 gauge Browning White Lightning O/U.
