I am ready for a drink and sleep after my days. Sometimes it's an energy drink if I have 225 miles ahead of me after a 1-day trip.

I can't figure out where the birds are in warm weather....so I walk. If it's cold and snowy, I know where to look. My goal is to not walk a lot, but I end up doing that if I struggle to find birds.

Agreed. The bird I hit in the back 1/3 looked like it was going down. Echo was in full sprint. When the bird crossed the CR, she held up. I was great with her decision....and I wanted that rooster.

Appreciate you watching that mess. I walked 26 miles in 2 full days. Areas that were once loaded with cover and birds, had sparse cover and less birds. Eastern Colorado needs water. A lot of it.
