Best all around e-collar for training and hunting

It is time to get an e-collar for my 6 month old Gordon Setter, and I’m having a terrible time deciding which one is best. I’m looking at the Dogtra 2700 as well as Garmin options, and would prefer to buy a setup that works well for training and for hunting for the long haul. The old buy once, cry once theory. What are your suggestions?
 
If you are looking at the Dogtra 2700 I have to assume you are looking at a Beeper collar?? Again I would recommend Dogtra. Before I went to a GPS collar I had the Dogtra T&B and it was bullet proof.
 
I heartily recommend the garmin pt10 collar, and the pro550 remote. The collar can be used with several of their remotes. The pro550 is the same shape/function of their remotes going back to tritronics days. Up to three dogs and good range if you need it.

Second. I've had d the two dog beeper model for years, great battery life and no issues
 
I hunted behind a dog with a Dogtra beeper collar last week. I can attest that it is extremely loud and could be used as a tornado warning system in an emergency. I do like Dogtra products though....just not a fan of beeper collars. I have a Garmin 550+ and it does everything I need it to do.

Beepers are okay if you run them in "Point Only Mode". If you have it beeping all the time they are annoying.

I'm curious about other people's input on this too. I've considered a Garmin Alpha 200 Plus with a TT25, but I'm a little concerned that the buttons/interface on the 200 Plus aren't the best for training. An added benefit of the GPS for me is that our dogs sometimes like to take walkabouts when we are at our cabin in the mountains, and it would be nice to be able to track them down.
 
I'm not sure there is? I use my beeper just as a locator in heavy cover when I lose sight of them, I don't know if I'd need that feature if my handheld pointed to where the dogs was and how far.
