There are going to be a lot of pheasant in eastern South Dakota this fall.I just drove through South to North.Very green, very tall cover.
Watertown and North up to that hill country.Yes…my area just got 2”+ a week ago, and over 7” since the 4th of July…usually we’re dry in the July/August timeframe…
Waterfowl hunting is grossI have never seen South Dakota so green and loaded with water.
It is fun, but it is a lot of work.Very early mornings. I don't hunt waterfowl anymore, but I have definitely done my share.Waterfowl hunting is gross
Waterfowl hunting separates the men from the boys…the men stay home!It is fun, but it is a lot of work.Very early mornings. I don't hunt waterfowl anymore, but I have definitely done my share.
Good to have you back Mike! Missed your comments while you were off finding yourself. Or were you off fondling yourself??Waterfowl hunting separates the men from the boys…the men stay home!
You forgot to mention the rattlesnakes. Lots of rattlesnakes in South Dakota this year....especially in areas that hold pheasant. They like the same habitat. If you're seeing pheasant....that area is probably loaded with snakes.South dakota has very few birds this year, public land was flooded across the state. Game warden told me to spread the word![]()
