I think I saw a released bird yesterday. He had no tail.
This bird I think may have been a sudo rooster.Wild, short-tailed roosters have been some of my greatest nemeses -- often flying, straight away, low, and FAST!
It just didn't look quite right.Could you tell if it's toe nails were painted?
I didn't shoot it.I don't shoot birds unless they are full colored long tailed. My cousin is another story. One of my friends is color blind. And, did it have a pierced nose?
I've only come across a few released birds, but unfortunately Montana released a lot.Im not a fan of releasing pheasant. Here in Pennsylvania hunting government birds lots of roosters have no tail.
Few live long enough to grow their feathers out.
No tail is strange.Wild, short-tailed roosters have been some of my greatest nemeses -- often flying, straight away, low, and FAST!
