    Wet Crispi Boots

I have numerous pairs of Kenetreks and Crispi boots and have never had any issues with water in them. I have had water get in them but that's from crossing streams etc where the water goes over the top of the boots, but as far as walking in wet grass I have never had a issue.

    2025 Roadside Count

I think like any state it has a lot to do with the winter/spring/summer weather. We all know that even 10 miles can make a big difference in weather and how the birds handle it. It also has a lot to do with the pockets of habitat, if you find large areas with good habitat or counties with large...

    2025 August Roadside Survey

About what I expected with the winter and spring that we had. Now if we could string 4-5 years in a row for the entire region we would really be back in the good ole days as we like to say. I remember back in mid 2000's in MN and SD, man that was some good hunting. I know nothing like 40-50...

    Is it really an upgrade?

I have a Wings works and a final rise, I never thought I would find a vest better than my Wings works. But I tried out the Final Rise at pheasant fest a few years ago and fell in love with it. Now the Wings works is my back up vest or spare if I ever bring someone with me that doesn't have a...

    How fast conditions change.

6 inches over a 2 week span isn't bad. If that was over 1-2 days I would be concerned.

    Looking for locals to guide?

Our group hunts all over NC & NW iowa during the season, I can tell you opening weekend will be difficult to find anyone with private land. Not to say it's impossible but it is by far more difficult to find. With that said if you don't have a dog, I would try and get down to the area you are...

    New Gun Safe

What do you run for humidity control in your safes? Looking at the systems that are out there they all seem to be about the same. Either the packets of beads/etc... or the rods that are powered from the outlet.

    New Gun Safe

I thought about it but the problem was I really was only budgeting to get the smaller 33 gun PF safe. And well the deal he was willing to give me on this one made it to hard to pass up. I think the wife might have killed me had I spent another $4-500 as this was already more than what we talked...

    New Gun Safe

Picked up a new gun safe this past weekend. it was 12hrs of driving to pick it up and come back home but for the price I got it for I would do it again in a heartbeat! $3500 dollar safe out the door for $2400 plus there is a $150 dollar rebate so it knocked it down to $2250. I know the rep for...
