I use a PupFlask and it is amazing! I keep a jug of water to refill the unit when getting low.

I’ve worn nothing but uninsulated boots for bird hunting in either Filson Uplander or Crispi Idaho GTX II flavors. I always wear good socks and I don’t get cold. I have the Crispi boots on in this picture.

I really enjoy my trips to the local preserve. The dog gets a lot more enjoyment than I do. I love watching him work the field and make the retrieve. It is 8-9hr drive for me to get into good wild bird country, thus not a quick weekend trip. The preserve is an hour each way.

It is $130 for 4 birds at my local preserve. I can also have him put out 6 chukar instead for the same price. Those a re great fun for the dog.

I think if Whisky has a favorite it is carrots.

Whisky loves fresh veggies as well. It is funny to watch and listen to him eating broccoli. crunch crunch crunch
