A senior moment!!!

Nothing better than a nice covey rise and click, click. Done that once or twice and I'm only 25:eek:. The dogs fail to see the humor in an unloaded gun.

I went pheasant hunting one time and brought all my gear, including the gun and ammo. All except the key to my trigger lock, that is. Fortunately , my buddy had his spare gun along. the trigger lock now comes off before the gun goes in the truck! I turn 50 in two weeks.

Not Pheasant-related, but still doesn't beat the tale about the fella who drove his LARGE motor home all the way from Portland, OR in the middle of the night for the opener of the Buoy 10 Salmon season on the Columbia River. After the drive, he patiently got in line at the launch and backed, then waited, then backed, then waited . . . for several hours until his turn at the launch finally arrived, at which time his partner got out to guide him and they realized they had forgotten to stop by the marina & load the boat onto the trailer. Double senior moment . . . don't we all feel better now?
