Hunting Boots - Plastic Coat on Toes

Anyone out there use Plastic Coat or equivalent to make the toes on boots last longer? It seems like the toes goes on the boot well before anything else wears out. Trying to see if I can get another season out of my broken in boots... pure comfort.

Haven't used anything, but all the welders that come into the plant I work at have an added on covering/coating on their boots for that very reason. Some use a rubbery stuff they paint on, others buy a glue on cover from places like Red Wing.

Yes, I've seen very similar things being used Cheesy. We have hot glue pots that guys will dip the tips of their boots in. Doesn't last long but doesn't cost them anything either.
