Snacks, Meals?

17" blackstone and 2 burner coleman stove and a tote full of cooking stuff makes meal options endless. Saturday after duck hunting we had mac n cheese with smoked pulled pork on the tailgate.
 
Snacks: graham crackers, granola bars

Meals: eat out to spread a little money around. good crock pot meal is chili
 
Venison sticks, oranges and apples for snacks. Typically a sandwich for lunch. Dinners are steaks, pork, nachos, fish, pizza, elk. Lots of options.
 
For a truck snack I had triple berry snack mix with dark chocolate from Sam's Club in my truck. Cherries, blueberries and cranberries. Pecans, almonds etc. Pretty good stuff. I also had some blackberry, lemon and cherry hand pies in the truck. I allow myself one of those a day.

In the hotel room I had premade chili, penne pasta, tuna fish salad, salami, american cheese and Lebanon bologna. I just reheat food or make a sandwich.. I'm by myself most of the time and don't want to deal with left overs and cleaning. The microwave is my friend.
 
There is usually a box of Little Debbie's in my truck. I generally eat breakfast, so I seldom am grabbing those. A 20oz Dt. Dew is generally consumed on the way home.
The closest thing I have traveling to bird hunt, is traveling to shoot prairie dawgs. I take a 2 burner 413 Coleman stove and a couple cast-iron skillets and and CI griddle. I eat a huge breakfast of pancakes and/or eggs and sausage at the room (around 5am), cook in the field either brats or burgers (same condiments) around noon and back at the room for diner, again brats or burgers at around 8:30-9:00. Then get some sleep. Long days shooting off a bench in the sun and wind will also tire you out. Just keeping it simple. Not much time for grab-ass.
 
Venison sticks, beef jerky, banana, or trail mix.

And water, lots of it. A Charlie horse later in the day because I failed to hydrate is no fun.
