Do you add anything to your dogs water while hunting

Looking for something safe to add to my dogs (Abbee) water to help her. She is 10 and still healthy and ready to go.

I was researching it, and nothing better than water. I was looking at giving my gatorade, but Vet talked me into thinking it was a bad idea. Again, I am noob, learn more from you guys than I can give back.

In very cold weather, I have had difficulty getting my dog to hydrate.

I add powdered beef broth to the water. It helps a great deal.

I spike their morning water with a small amount of a food topper I make, before we leave the motel. They will drink the entire bowl. Dyne or chicken broth is also something you can add to water.

Add low sodium chicken broth if you want them to drink water or to make sure they eat food on an extended hunt.

Water is all they need.

I like egg or ground burger as a supplement to their evening meal to encourage them to eat if they are "dog" tired. The extra protein and fat is a plus too.
