Are the stock chokes any good?

Are the stock chokes that come with the Benelli’, good enough to hunt with or should I buy an aftermarket choke?
I purchased a Benelli Ultralight 20 a few years back and had a rough start with missing everything I shot at. I decided to pattern the gun on a splatter board to see where my shots were going. My IC that came with the gun was shooting 12" high and left at 16 yards. I promptly ordered all new choke tubes from Carlson and I am not having that issue anymore. I'm not saying yours will be that way also......just for your consideration. I think it all depends on when they change their cutting tools and and re-calibrate their equipment. I am sure they are mass producing them and have an acceptable number of units being cut before they re-calibrate. Definitely pattern your gun before you hunt or shoot clays.
