Dewayne Bowe pooped on my porch

Dewayne Bowe the GSP, not Dewayne Bowe the football player. Dewayne stayed in a pen before he came to me. At night, he does not want to get his paws wet so he poops on my porch. Tried to keep him a crate at night and monitor his business. Not working.

Anyone have any feeding recommendations so he will not poop at night. Have been feeding twice a day but could go to one feeding.

Feed earlier in the evening and let him out to do his business several times before you crate him. All of my dogs are on a poop schedule. None go in their pens (except pee). They all poop in the neighbors yard as it should be. LOL!!!

Obie my younger pointer poops in the neighbors flower bed next to their garage every time. The older pointer doesn't have a particular spot over there. The labs go on the south side of their above ground pool. Good thing is they have dogs too so they probably think it's their own dogs. Ha ha!!
 
Try sprinkling cayenne pepper on your porch. When the dog sniffs around to do his business he'll get a snoot full and go somewhere else. This worked for me as my GSP loved pooping right in front of my shop door. Now she just poops everywhere else.
