The Boar's Nest

If anyone here has hunted The Boar's Nest in the past, shoot me a PM and share your experience with me please. We have it booked for week 9.

I'm interested in knowing where your favorite area eatery is/was during your stay, if you went to any local attractions between hunts, etc. I haven't decided if I'll drive up to Huron to show the boy the giant pheasant or if I'll head into Mitchell to the Corn Palace, but if I do, I'd like another reason or 2 to visit either area. I'd also appreciate any info on which direction to drive for the best road ditches. I doubt we'll spend much time hunting ditches, but ya never know what the weather will be like (crunchy snow for example would be a reason to find some ditches). I assume it'd be best to head west (from Howard) for ditches and getting across the hwy that runs between Huron/Mitchell would probably be best.

Good luck to everyone getting out next week! I'll leave the beach every few hours to look for updates in the hotel lounge:)
