A few from hunters at the hotel and at the super club tonight.

Vivian area. 14 guys 36 roosters. Private farm.

Hayes area: 10 guys 8 birds with a local guide on private lands.

Pierre area: solo guy, no birds public land.
 
We were in the central part of the state. Only really got. 3.5 days of hunting in out of the 5 we were out there. 34 pheasant 2 sharptail all public

Thats because you have the perfect hunting dogs--color wise as well --well maybe for one exception:):cheers::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Had two great days of hunting in central.
 
S.D report for here

Just got back, 159 birds in 4 days for 9-20 hunters at times, all private ground of friends and family. Birds are way down!!! But more to the hunt than the kill. Thought cover was the best I have ever seen. Mild winter/good spring we are back in business. Will be going out several more times to S.D between chasing roosters in MN, will give more reports as the season moves on. Side note: Dog work was great with some long retrieves and great point/flushes. Had total of 8 very good dogs on the ground at any given time, did not seem to matter, #'s simple are not there.

thats what makes me want to hit SD the public land DIY hunts like that now you maid me want to head west!!! i may try to do a ND/SD hunt??? my SD may be late season??? or vise versa SD 1st then ND later???

any way love the general info instead of name drop n towns & love the public land pics tbear thanks again man for sharing!!!

i found birds here in MN so i think i can do the same in SD as well??? man it makes me want to go ASAP gotta get my van fixed or get a topper for my truck then im off!!! too im not sure yet???
