looked at a mossburg and it felt like a decent gun. any of you guys have any experience on what's available?
 
I bought my son a Stoger youth Condor 1 3/4 years ago and so far it has performed very well. It probably has about 100+ rounds through it and no function issues. When we got it I removed the stock from the receiver and we had to work the safety a bit to loosen it up; it was very stiff and difficult for him to work it; now it is smooth and safe. He is 12 now and not a big kid and it fits him well. Great gun for the money especially as a starter gun. His younger brothers will get to use it when he out grows it. If the pictures upload correctly you can see he won the wood lottery on the forearm, too bad the stock wasn't from the same piece.
