Good luck and be safe to everyone going tomorrow. I have two kids and will be hitting game lands #226 for the fifth year in a row. Now all my friends kids will be all grown up..:(
 
I hope everyone has a safe hunt and enjoys themselves! Yep...blink your eye and them youngsters grow up!
 
Good luck on Saturday. It will be a wet one here at home.

I will be helping out with a youth hunt the local club is doing. I'll be taking a total of 6 kids out (2 at a time) in the morning. The club also stocked the pond with some trout, so the kids can fish when they are not hunting or shooting clays. I will also be taking a neighbor kid out on Monday since we are off from school but that looks to be a wet one, too.
 
I took the neighbor boy out Monday morning and the dogs had some nice work. We put up 6 roosters and 1 hen during about 2 hours of hunting. They boy was able to bring one pheasant home. It was his first time hunting. There were still a good bit of birds out there.
 
That's a good hunt! Was this on a SGL or club property?
 
Took a new boy back out to #226 we put up 6 birds in hour and half two were hens they would of been his best chance at one he did drop one rooster it got up ran in a long thick fence row you can't even poke with a stick in it drake dove in it flew out the other side drake came out with a bloody face..lol great time he's hooked and only 13. That gives drake 15 flushes in 2.5 hrs. I think he's ready for opening day.

Sound like great time to. Wish we got out in the am this makes two days and raining both days.
