Ahhhhhh yes. Miss Dee is looking radiant as ever. Did she get a trim, shampoo, and condition? Maybe those pretty flowers bring the color out in her eyes?:D

Took the mutt out Friday to the dove fields and I am forecasting a very good year here. We saw plenty of doves and Grace just didn't understand why I wasn't shooting them - she couldn't care less if it was season or not.

I also went ahead and put a little extra fertilizer on my banana pepper plants this weekend in preparation for dove season. You ask why do they matter?


1) Marinade dove breast in Italian dressing for 6+ hours.
2) Wrap with bacon with banana pepper in between (the peppers from the garden are much better)
3) Cook on grill until bacon is done - I usually let my burn a little bit
